At Mailfence, we’re constantly striving to make our services accessible to everyone. This new plan is designed with affordability and flexibility in mind.
In this guide, we’ll cover everything you need to know about this new plan, and how it differs from our other subscriptions.
Individual vs Business subscriptions
We have restructured our offering into Individual vs. Business plans so that you can quickly find the perfect subscription depending on your needs. When you navigate to the Mailfence homepage, you will now find both “Personal” or “Business” subscriptions:
Our Personal subscriptions include:
- Free Plan : Mailfence will always remain free for those who choose so. You get 1 GB of storage, but no IMAP/SMTP/POP access.
- Base Plan (NEW) : Our brand new Mailfence Base Plan, tailored specifically to meet the needs of individuals and family members. Increased storage, aliases, and custom filters, for just 2.5 EUR /month. More info in the next section.
- Entry Plan: Our traditional offer for those who want to enjoy the full Mailfence experience: custom domains, IMAP and EAS connectivity, increased storage, aliases, and more. This plan is ideal for the manager of the family accounts. With the admin panel this user can manage up to 5 accounts. For example: A family of 5 can take two Entry’s for the parents and 3 Base subscriptions for the children.
Our Business subscriptions include:
- Entry Plan : Same as above – well suited for the members of an organization.
- Pro Plan : Up to 100 aliases, 78Gb of storage, additional features, and priority support. Ideal plan for the IT manager of an SME or organization. This plan includes an admin panel that can manage up to 200 accounts.
- Ultra Plan : The ultimate plan. Maximum storage, contacts, aliases, and custom domains. Plus, we donate 15% of our Ultra revenue to the EFF.
Note: you can always choose a Business subscription even if you are an individual.

- Flexible Usage: You can combine it with any other subscription. To manage your family accounts, use our Admin Panel.
- Family-Friendly Sharing: This plan benefits from the sharing features of our Groups. Your family can share calendars, documents, or contacts with our Group feature. Learn how to create a group here.
