Alongside many other new features and improvements, this new version of our mobile app brings you one step closer to securing your online privacy wherever you go.

Mailfence Mobile App – Introducing the Calendar
We are thrilled to announce the inclusion of the “Calendar” tool in your Mailfence mobile app. You can now access and manage your meetings and appointments wherever you are!
Just like on our web app, you can create and update events, set recurring events and share calendars – all on-the-go.
To access your calendar, click on the “Calendar” icon on the left sidebar, right below your Documents:
Once you have accessed your calendar, you can access 3 different views:
- Day: gives you an overview of all the events scheduled on a specific day
- Week: gives you an overview of the events planned for a given week
- Month: gives you a full month overview
Among other things, you can
- Add an event
- View event details
- Cancel an event
- Set a recurring event
- Tag an event
- Add a comment to an event
And of course, your mobile calendar is fully synced with the web app; i.e., any event created on your smartphone will immediately appear if you log in from your computer.
To quickly create a new event, simply tap the large”+” icon at the bottom right of your screen:
Alternatively, you can also:
- long-press a specific time slot while in the Day view
- long-press a specific day while in the Month view
Both these actions will open up the “Create event” window:
Finally, you can also search for a specific event by tapping the magnifying glass at the top right-hand corner of the screen:
Other Major Improvements to the Mobile App
This new release of our mobile app also brings several significant improvements to the existing “Messages” and “Documents” tools. These include:
- Messages: reply to meeting invitations directly in your messages
- Fix some issues with email rendering
- Miscellaneous visual improvements
