Ceci est exploit\u00e9 par les spammeurs qui utilisent souvent des <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Adresse_%C3%A9lectronique\">adresses de courrier \u00e9lectronique<\/a> falsifi\u00e9es, ce qui complique le retra\u00e7age du parcours de l\u2019email pour retrouver son exp\u00e9diteur et facilite la dissimulation d\u2019identit\u00e9 pour l\u2019auteur du spam afin d&rsquo;\u00e9viter toute mise en cause. Il est \u00e9galement utilis\u00e9 dans les techniques de phishing, o\u00f9 les utilisateurs peuvent \u00eatre incit\u00e9s \u00e0 divulguer des informations priv\u00e9es suite \u00e0 un courrier \u00e9lectronique pr\u00e9tendument envoy\u00e9 par une organisation, telle qu\u2019une banque.<\/p>\n<p>Le sender policy framework (SPF) permet au propri\u00e9taire d&rsquo;un domaine Internet de sp\u00e9cifier quels ordinateurs sont autoris\u00e9s \u00e0 envoyer un courrier avec les adresses de l&rsquo;exp\u00e9diteur dans ce domaine, en utilisant les enregistrements <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Domain_Name_System\">DNS (Domain Name System)<\/a>. Les destinataires qui v\u00e9rifient les informations SPF dans les enregistrements TXT peuvent rejeter les messages provenant de sources non autoris\u00e9es avant de recevoir le corps du message. Ainsi, les principes de fonctionnement sont semblables \u00e0 ceux des <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/DNS_Black_Listing\">listes noires bas\u00e9es sur le DNS (DNSBL)<\/a>, sauf que le SPF utilise le syst\u00e8me de d\u00e9l\u00e9gation d&rsquo;autorit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me du Domain\u00a0Name System. La m\u00e9thode actuelle n\u00e9cessite l&rsquo;utilisation des <a href=\"https:\/\/fr.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Liste_des_enregistrements_DNS\">enregistrements TXT<\/a>, tout comme les impl\u00e9mentations ant\u00e9rieures.<\/p>\n<p>Auparavant, un nouveau type d&rsquo;enregistrement (SPF, type 99) \u00e9tait enregistr\u00e9 et mis \u00e0 disposition dans un logiciel DNS commun. A l\u2019\u00e9poque, l&rsquo;utilisation des enregistrements TXT pour sender policy framework (SPF) avait \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue comme un m\u00e9canisme de transition. <a href=\"https:\/\/tools.ietf.org\/html\/rfc7208\">Le RFC exp\u00e9rimental, RFC 4408, section 3.1.1<\/a> [<em>document en anglais<\/em>]<a href=\"https:\/\/tools.ietf.org\/html\/rfc7208\">\u00a0<\/a>, a sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0Un nom de domaine compatible avec SPF DEVRAIT avoir des enregistrements SPF des deux types RR\u00a0\u00bb. Si le serveur accepte l&rsquo;exp\u00e9diteur et accepte par la suite les destinataires et le corps du message, il doit ins\u00e9rer un champ voie de retour dans l&rsquo;en-t\u00eate du message afin d&rsquo;enregistrer l&rsquo;adresse de l&rsquo;exp\u00e9diteur. M\u00eame si l&rsquo;adresse de cette voie de retour correspond souvent \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres adresses de l\u2019auteur dans l&rsquo;en-t\u00eate de courrier telles que celle qui figure dans la rubrique From ou Sender, ce n&rsquo;est pas n\u00e9cessairement le cas, et le SPF ne permet pas d\u2019\u00e9viter la falsification de ces autres adresses.<\/p>\n<p>Les spammeurs peuvent envoyer un courrier \u00e9lectronique avec un r\u00e9sultat SPF PASS s&rsquo;ils ont un compte dans un domaine avec une norme\u00a0de v\u00e9rification de l&rsquo;exp\u00e9diteur ou qu\u2019ils utilisent un syst\u00e8me dans ce domaine qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 pirat\u00e9. Cependant, ce faisant, le spammeur facilite sa d\u00e9tection.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est aux propri\u00e9taires d&rsquo;adresses e-mail falsifi\u00e9es dans la voie de retour que le SPF profite le plus.
